How to get to our Holiday Cottages in Cushendun
Flying into Northern Ireland - Belfast International Airport (1 hour) or George Best Belfast City Airport (1 hour and twenty minutes) or Derry City Airport (1 hour and twenty minutes)
Flying into Dublin (3 hours)
Cushendun, in County Antrim, Northern Ireland is situated on the edge of the Sea of Moyle, fifteen miles across the sea from Scotland and is easily found in the north-east section of a map of Ireland.
FROM BELFAST
Follow the M2 motorway for approximately 18 miles and exit on the A8 to Larne. On entering Larne town make a left turn onto the A2 Coast Road and follow the Coast Road for approximately 25 miles to the village of Cushendall. In Cushendall make a left turn at the Tower and remain on the A2 to Ballycastle for some 5 miles. Make a right turn where signposted for the village of Cushendun.
TO SEASIDE, SEAVIEW AND BAYVIEW COTTAGES
Drive through the village and along past the beach for ½ mile. Take the first right turn (signposted Scenic Route, Torr Road).
Seaside Cottage is on the first cement lane on right (500 yards) with traditional pillars at entrance. Seaview and Bayview Cottages are at the cottages just further down this lane (Seaview: left hand cottage on approach from road, Bayview is the right hand cottage on approach from road).
TO FISHERMAN’S COTTAGE
On entering the village of Cushendun turn right just before you drive across the bridge. Fisherman’s Cottage is the Cottage on the left at the end of this road.
TO LAYDEVIEW COTTAGE AND GLENVIEW COTTAGE
Drive through the village and follow the road as it swings left, past the caravan site (on the left). Glenview Cottage is No 51 Glendun Road (6th cottage on the right hand side) and Laydeview Cottage is No 53 Glendun Road (7th cottage on the right hand side).
TO GLENDUN HOUSE
Drive through the village, follow the road as it swings left, past the caravan site (on the left). Glendun House is the 9th house on right hand side past the caravan park (No. 53c).
